We’re excited to announce the release of a new India Pale Lager, Home, to commemorate the 5th consecutive World Cup Qualifying cycle being held in Columbus, Ohio. Brewed specifically for the November 11th USA-Mexico match, Home will be served at Mapfre Stadium. This limited release will also be available on tap and in six packs from the Land-Grant taproom, as well as within select fine craft beer retailers throughout Columbus.
Our president and co-founder had this to say on the commemorative brew… “Since before the brewery was even open, U.S. Soccer has been a huge part of Land-Grant.We watched the 2014 World Cup in the brewery during construction, and we’ve had incredible experiences at US-Mexico matches in the past. Once we heard the announcement that Columbus would, once again, host the game, we knew we had to brew up something special to commemorate it.”
Welcome to the home of American Soccer: Columbus, Ohio. Every four years, Mexico’s squad makes the trek up here, only to lose Dos-A-Cero. We’ve brewed up this dry-hopped India Pale Lager with Centennial, Cascade, Citra, and Simcoe hops because, well, we believe that we will win.
