Science is Brewing! Brewer & Scientist-Led Brewery Tour

There’s quite a bit of science that goes on every day here in our brewery and taproom in Franklinton, and we’re ready to give you a peek behind the scenes! In conjunction with COSI’s Science Festival, we invite you inside our facility for a look at brewing through a science lens demonstrating big-picture ideas and new technology and science in the industry lead by Land-Grant Director of Engineering, Chris Helderman and a COSI Scientist Joe Wood. From Yeast and Malts to Carbonation and Oxidation – our experts will cover it all in this free demonstration with COSI science fun at every turn!

Join us in the Kickstarter Room for hands-on and casual demonstrations and participate in the fun and take a tour with the COSI Science and Land-Grant Brewing team as they show you the technology and equipment that goes into brewing the perfect beer.

Ray Ray’s Hog Pit and Mikey’s Late Night Slice food trucks will be on-site so you can make an evening of it with dinner and a tour! We hope you’ll join us to see the science of brewing firsthand with our friends at COSI!
